Start with Haile!

16 September 2015

Haile Gebrselassie, the greatest distance runner in history, will bid his final farewell to competitive running at this year’s Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run…and we want YOU to join him.

We are looking for 10 lucky people to start the 10k with Haile on October 4 and help the man himself celebrate an incredible career spanning two decades and a jaw-dropping 27 world record titles.

If you would like to meet Haile and join him as he crosses the start line in his last ever competitive event, all you have to do is tell us what question you would most like to ask the man himself.

Perhaps about his win at the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run in 2013, or maybe you’d ask him for some expert training tips?

Whatever your burning question would be, we want to hear it!

Email your question, along with your full name, age and hometown, to startwithhaile@greatscottishrun.com by 5pm on Friday 25 September to be in with a chance of winning this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Terms and conditions:

Entries must be received by 5pm on 25 September. No late entries will be permitted.

Entrants must have registered for the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run 10k to be eligible. Entry available at www.greatscottishrun.com

The winning 10 runners will all start the 10k with Haile at 0945. Whether or not you can keep up is another matter…!
